We both stay in the jobs for week, spend it luxuriating at Chequers, then resign and collect a fat life pension.
Terry Everall
The surprise is that some idiots in the Conservative party thought she was the best choice for PM. Good riddance

PDCA and you can bet she’ll claim every penny of it she can. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/public-duty-cost-allowance/public-duty-costs-allowance-guidance I think it is staggering that any ex prime minister gets this. £115k a year to run your office, when most of them make a fortune in after dinner speeches etc. This greed is shared by all parties and approved. We really need a system like in PLC's now where we have an option to agree such payouts and end them. They should get security, for a time but limited as once out of office they are no longer a tier one target.
Terry Everall
The thought that we might get Boris back is beyond belief. Last time he had to go as he lost the support of other MPs and nobody believed what he said. The same people that got rid of him are still there so why would they want him back ?. The conservatives are making a mockery of our government at the moment

It's a feat he could struggle to repeat I fear. Penny Mordant is very presentable and gives a good account of herself in the House, but she's inexperienced at the very top levels. She could be another Truss but with different gravy. Hunt... well maybe not. Sunak, possibly. Whoever it is they MUST be competent and statesmanlike whichever sex.
