Anybody got one lying around after an upgrade? My options are remove/ strip/ repaint or replace so I’m starting to look around. Richard (OldStager) Posted June 20, 2022 Share Posted June 20, 2022 Hi, well speaking for myself only, I have had to change it once in 14 years and only because the old one someone else made rusted away, so not as regular as you might think, I suppose if you are pounding up and down a motorway all the time then perhaps yes. I’ve only had mine for just over a year and it was finished only shortly before that, so I guess I was extrapolating in terms of a “natural” lifespan for a steel grill. Obviously need help with postage if not local. Personally the mesh I now have is the plastic Audi type and the air flow/cooling benifits are outstanding. I think the plus factors of no rust and improved airflow/ cooling make it the right choice. Do you have a Westfield badge on yours and, if so, where did you get it from? Richard (OldStager) Posted June 20, 2022 Share Posted June 20, 2022 I got the badge which is actually on the rear of the car now, but I got it from ( I am pretty sure ) @marcusb, he either makes them or had them made I forget now.
