Saw this sign at my local Tesco petrol station and I still can't work out what they meant.

And yes that's my R1200RT on the right, waiting for me to figure out if I pay at the pump only or also in the kiosk... or neither

Maybe it makes sense if there's a third option like "pay with the app"?

Or am I ruining the fun here with some logic?

I think the third option applies to the people involved, it looks to me that someone who was not quite sure of what's needed asked someone with less idea and then gave the output to a third person who did not care to put up

I have long been despairing of the decline in standards of written and spoken English. This is magnified when I see stuff like this on the BBC website...

 

 

Took them a couple of hours to correct it but I am staggered that with all the various tools available how this stuff ever gets to publicly viewable pages, especially given the sensitive nature of the story.
