I'm pedestrian rank with the WSCC and need 35 points to move up. What are the ranks and how do you get points to move on?

As far as I am aware it's based on post numbers.

Yes, Richards correct, it’s just a bit of fun, done automatically by the forum software. It’s based purely off the number of posts.

Apparently you get a free Westfield when you reach 10000 posts.

I have just done some calculations.

I don't know what my average post count is per day, but if it's 10 I will be 67 before I catch and overtake @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Secretary, and that's assuming Dave does not post at all in the next 12 years...

 

And to get this free Westfield I will be 87, I'd be surprised if knew what a Westfield was at that age.

Sometimes we have to just accept defeat... although I do pride myself in occasionally beating @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Secretary to answer a TQ before him (approx 1/1000 ratio) which I class as a rare win for me 😆
