Yes the Eleven cover is larger than the SEIW cover.

can someone do me a small favour please, that owns one of these covers

can you sprinkle some water on it and see if it has a repellent coating or not.

i dont expect a fully waterproof cover but it does really need to at least run off the cover if it gets wet and not soak into it.

thank you

i know, its just i get the odd leak and if i happen to forget the main cover which is fully waterproof i wont feel so peeved if it rains in the middle of the night. so it just needs a coating on it, i suppose thinking about it i could spray it with one of these soft top or tent type sealants, just wondered what they were from the factory.

I wouldn't spray it with any waterproofing agent.

Just remember to put the waterproof cover on, or fix the roof....

roof repair no longer an option at this point in time, having priced it up. may i ask why you would not waterproof it... this isnt to be used as a replacement for my main cover, rather in summer and then one night i forget to fit the main one it rains a bit.

if there is a technical reason why i cant waterproof it, i will just have to get the outdoor one instead, but i will need data on why i cant do that, ie type of material used etc.

we need to ask a cyclist then if its lycra based 😂, i have no clue if that be coated - i guess the internet would help out there.
