Kingster
Following the recent visit to a rather wet Cadwell where I was lucky enough to use some borrowed wheels and suitable wet weather tyres, I feel the need for a set of my own. I’d prefer 13” x 7” et 23 (ish) or 13” x 6” et 10 (ish) so that I can make it a nice easy swap at the track and use inexpensive tyres. What you got? Happy to pick up within a 50 mile or so radius of Newcastle.
Andrew
You could probably go down to 6" rims if you're looking at 185 road tyres? I have a pair of 185s on 7" rims that don't sit as nicely as the pair on 6" rims. They worked OK at Cadwell though. If you're planning on using the used race wets that are available, then they're better suited to the wider rims.
AdamR
6s would work well with a set of A021s in 185/70, too, and give you more choice of offsets. Tyres are same diameter as your 205/60s, pretty much, and narrower so they heat up faster. Cheap too if you go for non road legal ones! https://www.tmrsupplies.co.uk/products/yokohama-170-590r13-185-70r13-a021-n2971/

Steve (sdh2903)
Don't know if these are any use chris. Might be a bit narrow on the 5.5" https://www.lotus7.club/forum/market-place/sale-revolution-wheels-x-4-13x-5-12-6-£
Kingster
Might be a bit too narrow - I’ll “do the math” - thanks for the heads up though 👍
AdamR
Those would work great with 175 or 185 "actual" road tyres, I have 5.5" on mine.
