Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative
It's the 1st July and that means it's time to turn your WSCC calendar over and see what we get up to in the Peak District as I am 'driving' well 'steering' Bill's mighty crossflow into a safe position for the breakdown truck to pick it up from. @AndrewBClarke @BillyPee @BugMan @Andy Westwood oh what fun we had! plus it goes to prove that we don't 'Top Gear Style' leave you if you break down, well not immediately anyway 😃 5
AndrewBClarke
Good to hear from you. Turned calendar over. Made me smile. My car wasn’t behaving that day either with a faulty starter so @Julie Hall - Peak District AOaccompanied me to a petrol station on the way home in case a push start was required. Filled it up with engine running in the end. Dodgy. Looking forward to getting out again. Those cake shops need our support 😀. Suppose I better see family first otherwise there will be complaints...
BillyPee
What a memorable day that was. I absolutely love that photo, smiles all around even in adversity! Thanks to everyone who waited with me for the tow truck to arrive, I really did appreciate that. I cannot wait for another Curborough and Peaks day out in the mighty crossflow with you lovely lot sometime soon. 😀

Much later than normal as I stayed with you which would not have been too bad but I had messaged Clare earlier to say my car wasn’t working very well but then didn’t tell her we were staying late at the pub with you. She was ‘slightly’ worried in case I was stuck somewhere. Deserved the telling off really. Next time I’ll send her a note that I’m staying late at a pub.....
