kik1.6se Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 Thanks Robin, we are really looking forward to it. Dave, just to confirm we will make our own way there as we will be in a tin top. 2 Quote
Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 Who would have thought getting a holiday in Snowdonia with fair weather in August could be so difficult? As more rain is planned for next week too that has gone on the back burner again, the good news is that not only is there supposed to be a ridge of high pressure for Sunday but we will be able to come along to this too. We will be leaving Baslow at 8am arriving at the Carding Shed for 9am. I will post up a separate event for the journey just in case anyone else wants to come with us. 1 Quote

Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 A gathering of 5 AO's eh, might have to bring my flag and wear my WSCC AO shirt and look like a top class club then. Quote
Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO Posted August 8, 2019 Author Posted August 8, 2019 After our monthly meeting, and @Julie Hall - Peak District AO and Glen finally deciding to come 😊, we now have another 5 possibly 6 more people coming. That makes 40. I'll collect your money, and sort it out when we get there. How many in Westfields? I am. As I said before, the road in is a bit "dodgy" so be careful. We'll park in the top car park, better photo opportunities. Looking forward to it, see you all Sunday morning. 2 1 Quote
CosKev Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Hoping the BBC forecast is correct! One I've looked at today shows rain all day Quote
