Thames Valley Orienteering Event

I have taken up , on behalf of the Thames Valley area group to run an orienteering event on Sunday 30th June . The idea is, you are given a map with markers on it and a question sheet. You have 3 hrs to gain as many points as you can.  The event will be in West Berkshire, so it then leaves the door open for areas such as Oxfordshire, Hampshire and Wiltshire, or anyone to come and join in. So, the AO's for these areas, drum the members up please . This has the 'meet the neighbours' feel about it too . 

If anyone wishes to join in from these areas, then please let me know below. Everyone is welcome. Hoping for 30 ish cars to participate, although the more the merrier, the pub has a huge field and does car meets. Dont have to have a Westfield , which allows the Oxfordshire defection club to join us too  Plan is , we start at a pub and we end at the same pub for lunch, drinks and banter. So, I need to chat to the landlord, but he is always up for car things , so should be good to go. 

If you have any questions, or thoughts on the event, then fire away. Its just another thing I thought I would try to be different with the club again

Excellent idea Justin and great to hear about the plans. It will be a really fun activity.
