Off to sea in a pea-green (decked) boat!  Eight Westfields, a Quantum and an MX-5 - oh, and a Tiger (just pulling your leg Jim 😋), on the ferry from Portavadie, Argyle to Tarbet, Kintyre.

 

Lovely weekend, fun roads, neat campsite, good food, great chat, some new faces (to us at least) and the usual clan - what could be better!

Big thanks for the guys organising the weekend. Met lots of new people ( let’s face it you were all new to me!!!) and everyone was really friendly and we had a good few days driving. Few pics of the weekend below. Expected a few more but the “photographer” next to me was busy texting his mates most of the time 😊

 

Weather was great all the way back to Spean and glad we took the long way around.

Thanks to everyone who helped organise this weekend and to all who turned up for the weekend, just for the run out on Saturday and to Brian who drove up from Kelso had breakfast , waved us off and went back due to other commitments

Hooray, my brake lights are working - but have nooo idea what I did to achieve it!

 

Washed the car when we got home, then set about with the multi-meter to find the issue. Tested a few things for power and continuity, wiggled a few wires, unplugged a few connectors, replaced a (tested) good fuse for another one and hey presto, Bob's your uncle, lights working - but none the wiser!

Glad to hear you got your brake light sorted and I know exactly how you fixed them .. you "wiggled a few wires". That's the standard operational procedure! 

 

Great weekend and to think that I almost never went! Love our new 'Applecross' and here's to exploring new roads!
