Regarding disabling speed cameras on satnav....

If your data plan can bear the load abroad, use waze on smartphone. "Speed cameras" are not pinpointed. It's either law enforcement presence or "danger zone" (the rough mile length of road where there is danger, hence the presence of a safety feature camera). It will give you the split second warning before the <insert suitable wording> in the german SUV you are following slams the brakes because his danger zone device beeped.

Be also aware that some speed cameras are enhanced (multilane, two ways, traffic lights) and that if no speed is specified its 80kph default. On any road with a central separator it's 90kph unless specified.

Thanks for the information.

This driving abroad is all new to me so trying to be a good lad and not be caught out.

Truthful answer is I doubt we will drive fast enough to break any laws. :d

Myself, Gary and Trina have booked tickets on this.

The Gelmerbahn Funicular.

We will go to this, the one like a wooden train and the open topped cable car throughout the day and then do the St Gottherds pass in the evening.

Anyone else care to join us.

On the basis that we are governed by spineless incompetent individuals who can’t take care of our country and her population and with a B day of 2 days before we leave home and to cover myself I was in town this morning for X-rays
So popped into the PO and caused chaos and got 2 IDP’s at a grand cost of £5.50 each
1 x IDP 1926 covers Lichtenstein
1 x IDP 1969 covers the rest of Europe
Yes in 2019 I have just got myself a 1926 document !!!!!
Anyway you need a passport photo for each and only the driver requires it
We still don’t know IF we actually need them but given our rural location up here I got mine
