Noise after turned off car - Advice please

Ah, thanks for that explanation, Maurici. I knew my Skoda fan runs on after I switch off, but that may be because it is a turbo diesel in light of your explanation.

Funny thing is though that my 2 Westfields, both using factory wiring looms, also ran/run on after switching off. I don't know why they wire the fan that way, but they do.???

@WINGNUT apologies for the delay.  Only remembered again when I had to fill up this morning :blush:

You can see (just about) the exit of the hole inside the recess.

I can't actually show you the entry hole as it is somewhat hidden on the lifting tab.  If you disassemble the cap it should be straight forward to see.  It's only aluminium so easy to drill with the smallest drill you have.
