Looks great fun might need to add that to my list of things to do next year

I was on the front row in 2016.

Was the only one there yesterday and braved the rain  with my dad , got absolutely soaked to the skin , took the mrs today but in a tin top and Sod’s law it stayed dry for most of it , will be there again tomorrow in the westy which is also yellow ,seems to be a theme going on ,  overall though a great weekend with excellent racing and music but missing that sun from 2018

Just me and my nephew today for the parade lap, but we did it properly and stopped in pole position to spin our wheels and lay a teeny bit of rubber on the track.

The Silverstone Classic is a great day out, there’s loads to see and do, and watching the wheel to wheel racing of such special historic cars is fabulous. As usual the mini racing was epic. We walked around the paddock and garages, listening to the racket of thunderous engines and smelling the half burnt fuel. bl**** marvelous!

A good friend of mine is very fortunate to have an e-type racing tomorrow, no 221 in the e-type challenge. Has qualified on 3rd position on the grid so I plan on watching online and cheering it on.

His car came first - some superb driving by Ben Mitchell in a very wet race!

And a bit further back in the rain in 2019.

Great turn out of cars there, I once had a photo of my car under the wing of its namesake, no idea what happened to the photo though.

And then took a wrong turn and got very happily a bit lost on the way home

Thats a lovely road. Has it been resurfaced yet. I was on it a few years ago and it was terrible.

The last time I was on it was 2018 and it was better than it was then. I think parts have been resurfaced and others patched up.
