I'm currently looking for a MK1 with an 1800.

I like the idea of the 1600 as its revvy but not that powerful.

The 1800 will give me 130 bhp with plenty of options later don the line after IVA.  (read supercharger)

I will use as much as I can from the donor but not the dash as i want a heater/traditional dash.

Its still early days and I haven't sold my other one yet but I have had a couple of offers and there getting there.
