Man On The Clapham Omnibus Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 My God Bernie! You've got it! They put a force field in the spaces between the gate bars and the snow couldn't get through! Brilliant! Quote
pistonbroke Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 The more I look at it the more I am convinced , In fact I'm almost sure , it's the outline of a vapourised alien being of some kind, look closely , you can see the remains of his bones Most likely from planet Moulinsart Quote
Andrew O Byrne White - Ireland AO Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 Slightly different scale of snow pics, but I was in France last week snowboarding and the views were incredible: Then this happened... Might slow my build down a bit... Quote
Alan France Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 Ouch, that would have been painful. One of my children ran into my mother-in-law and broke her leg on a ski trip. That was very painful for me. 2 Quote

DonPeffers Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Getting a bit stir crazy now as only managed 2 short runs in last 3 weeks, after 17 week SORN. Been trying to avoid salty roads so mostly runs nearer to coast as milder. Best dry weather forecast with some weak sun is for Thursday 05 April with tops of 7C (feels like 4C and that's before the road wind chill). Wind chill calculator if needed https://www.weather.gov/epz/wxcalc_windchill Thinking I may need to emigrate. Wondering when, if ever, the Winter is going to end I am reminded of Bill Murray in Groundhog Day film "You want a prediction about the weather, you're asking the wrong Phil. I'll give you a winter prediction: It's gonna be cold, it's gonna be grey, and it's gonna last you for the rest of your life".---Hopefully not. Quote
