Phil Nelson Posted February 3, 2018 Posted February 3, 2018 Hello, Serial "Petrol-Head" here, who over the last 40 years has had far too many cars and bikes. Little known facts, I owned the "Wheeler Dealer" Ford Pop (WYD143) waaaay back, just after it had had mysteriously caught fire. I rebuilt it and it ran very well, though a 5.7L Chevy and a four gallon fuel tank made for frequent stops! My 48 Austin Gasser was featured in the second issue of the resurrected "Street Machine" magazine last August. I have no explanation for why I have just purchased a 1996 SEW Westfield with a live axle and 1600cc Crossflow. Nel Quote

Phil Nelson Posted February 4, 2018 Author Posted February 4, 2018 Thanks for the welcome messages. Except to go to the MOT, this Westfield has not been used since July 2007 and so some work will be required. My plan is to make it look "older" by replacing all the black plastic bits. I also plan to change the wheels for either Minilite style or steels with hubcaps. Any suggestions always welcome! All the best, Quote
Rory's Dad Posted February 4, 2018 Posted February 4, 2018 from another from Norfolk and another with a (mostly) yellow Westfield. Come from near Fakenham so would be good to meet up. Quote
