the stat isnt completly closed as i found out its about 20 percent open so still allows oil around i did a thread on it a while back

Where do you take your temp reading from?

Yes, mocal one mounted in front of the engine... though I'll be changing to a laminova to dump the heat back into the coolant over winter

There's little flow there so I reckon you're under reading there

Are you over cooling then??

I don't know as I don't run a temp sender. That stems from the days the engine was cheaper than the sender!

Change to laminova is packaging related rather than trying to fix a particular problem. I don't seem to have any over/under cooling issues but couldn't tell for sure. Other than nothing has blown up.

I am running a remote oil cooler now  but was not when just N/A tuned. When N/A tuned I did upgrade to a Radtec though
