Went to fill the Westfield up with fuel this afternoon, had a check under the bonnet when I got home and found oil leaking from the rocker cover. Tried to get a new gasket, but at 4oclock trying to find a crossflow rocker gasket is impossible. So I've put the old one back on with plenty of sealant on as well, I'll check it over in the morning and hopefully set off and stop to check again. 

If the leak is still there, I may have to come down in the Alfa.

My co-driver is determined she's getting up at 5:30 so we can hit the road early, because she wants a good spot for the tent, next to the electric if its available again this year.

Just finished loading the car up, damn, I'd forgotten till I started that I normally come down in the tintop on the Saturday; I'd forgotten Westfielding down would mean getting over a dozen 2m whip flags and a spare roll bar in the Westfield, plus the camping gear!

Oh well, less to bring back, I suppose.
