Blatman Posted February 20, 2017 Posted February 20, 2017 People who think "would of" is the full length version of the contraction "would've". It's "would have". Stuart, I'm looking at you There, their and they're are not interchangeable. People who think the internet and the world wide web are the same thing. That'll get the chattering classes in a mood... People who use the www and a computer (yes a smart phone/tablet is a computer) to complain they are no good with computers... People (usually women) who stop dead in doorways and at the top of stairs/escalators. The new machines at MacDonalds Donald Trump press conferences... I know the bank gets charged for a cash withdrawal, I wonder if they get charged for a balance enquiry too and so it's a way of getting more money for the cash machine operator. Not that I'm cynical. I was behind one the other day, who then spent additional time passing over endless coupons for the cashier to try. All the time chaos was going on outside as traffic was backing up on the road. 1 Quote
TAFKARM Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Welcome to our retail strategy. We make a lot more money from convenience shop sales than fuel Quote
jeff oakley Posted February 21, 2017 Author Posted February 21, 2017 I am sure you do, just make it so people can move their cars away before doing a shop. Quote

Not in my part of the world. If people want cash then get cash but don't dither wondering if they can afford it looking a balances. Get on with it you slow feckers The only thing that could be worse if a petrol station offering cash back at a checkout Quote
DamperMan Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 The local petrol station cooks hot food on site, Paninis, bacon butties while you wait. I've witnessed many times folk people simply parking their cars/ vans at the petrol pumps without even using them and staying 10 minutes while there food cooks.... GRRRRRR makes me mad!.... 2 Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Yeah, I know of a couple of really nice little places in petrol stations that do this. Most do move their cars, but not everyone. Quote
