I have put my name down for it..   Discount code still works :) notes.   Now I have a date to works towards for getting the car in shape.      Front suspension bushes, geometry, tunnel cover, engine run in, rolling road, new wheels on, Diff (Thanks CL290005), Under bonnet tidy and WASH!.....   And maybe loose a stone off my guts.     Find a Noise meter!/ hope for the best!....

Thanks....I might want too take you up on the kind offer..   We have a NM  somewhere to check factory noise.    But I've been casually looking about for it for a while.   I'll have a proper look again and if it is in fact lost I might take you up on your offer.   I think the noise probably OK.   I have a decent size can and its a 4-2-1 which I believe to be quieter than 4-1.  The filters are in the bonnet and not outside...

Do your ear bleed when you go for a run out? 102db drive by is bl**** loud!

My old St hit 105 on the drive by on induction noise But as I knew where the meter was I just had to lift off to get through the day

My 2.0 Duratec with a decent Simpson exhaust was 'busted' for 106 DB drive by at Silverstone earlier last year and I was called in for a warning.  I think it was the 8,500rpm I was pulling that made 'more' noise.  I backed off a bit and OK after that.
