Captain Colonial Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 We had a plan last year but he still got in... Yeah, that was a nice try leaving me off the list at the gatehouse, full marks for that! Quote
Stu Faulkner Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Ooohh goody. I've been waiting for this all year Quote
Andy - a15cro Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Read the previous posts with interest. Im trying to keep those days free as I think a convoy down from the North East sounds cool. Ive not been to a kit car show before so this will be my first. The only issue I have is camping, not really done it before, got no gear or clue as to what I would need. Im more of a hotel type of guy! lol Whats involved in being a helper as I'm open to getting involved if needed. I can imaging that if it rains on the way down or back it will be pretty miserable now I've removed my screen because my roof and doors will now not fit! There will be some PM'ing to Kingster I imagine on the run up. Quote
Kingster Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 There will be some PM'ing to Kingster I imagine on the run up.I'm all ears mate I'll be organising a convoy and have a spare tent if needed! 1 Quote

Andy Banks Posted February 7, 2016 Author Posted February 7, 2016 Wordsearch or crossword? Last year I did a simple flyer that came with a sticker, it had a basic (cos it was me wot done it) crossword. Do you fancy another crossword or maybe a wordsearch this this year? Quote
Kevin (Mr T) Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I've emailed about helping, no other comments at the moment other than "I can't wait", especially as I cannot make Silverstone! Quote
Andy Banks Posted February 7, 2016 Author Posted February 7, 2016 What about our charitable giving this year? Traditionally children's air ambulance but as it's our 30th are there similarly deserving causes perhaps with an anniversary this year too that you would like us to consider instead? Quote
Mark (smokey mow) Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Whats involved in being a helper as I'm open to getting involved if needed. All thats asked for is couple of hours of your time to help out.Past duties have included such roles as manning the autojumble, car parking marshalls, meet and greet, teas and coffee, and volunteers for the cars on display. It's a great way to meet and chat to a lot of clubs members 1 Quote
