We won't be coming to see you tomorrow, but make sure Tricky looks after the Peak District Monster Minion and someone pleeease take a picture of it for me.

Have a great day,

Thanks to Robin for organising today, apart from a couple of heavy showers early on it stayed fine with sunshine here and there. Robin made sure WSCC got it's 10 minutes of fame with parade laps in the arena at the end.

The evil minion Julie went down a storm with the kids, in fact it attracted more attention than the car! Just got back and a little wind swept, (didn't bother with the helmet, but thoroughly enjoyed the day).

This happened at Harewood today, and just because he didn't like queuing for entry.  :p

I'm glad we all had a good day today. Weather stayed fine apart from a couple of showers just as we all got polished, even got a bit of a sunburnt head. Lots of nice cars to look at and a couple of possible new members. Sorry about the delay getting into the arena, but with a bit of pestering we got a go round.

Are we up for it next year? We'll get better organized, maybe a gazebo and some chairs, and a few more cars.

Hi Guys

We had a bit of a laugh on the way out from Harewood. As we were queuing to get out there were 3 minis behind me and they were having a bit of a rev fest between them. Well anyone knowing me can see I'm no shrinking violet when it comes to announcing my presence so 6000revs of Zetec noise later they were truly top trumped and silenced (or deafened. :d )

Good day out and good to see you all again.

There were lots of interesting cars there and plenty to do and see.  I think we should have a go at getting numbers doubled at least for next year and making it a permanent fixture in our calender for Father's Day.  The winner of the kit car class was a beautiful XK120 replicar and apart from the fibreglass body was just great.  It was painted alovely mid green with matching wire wheels.  There were some very expensive looking Cobra replicas too.  In other classes a bronze Capri looked as though it had just come out of the showroom and had not been blinged up at all.  Actually it did have a steering wheel cover - but only to protect the original leather rim beneath! There was a also an immaculate baby blue frogeye but with shocking chrome wire wheels (should have been stove enamelled grey or better, steelies with hubcaps IMO).

It was the longest day

Great day Gents apart from the early morning shower, we lost the West Yorkshire flag at Stoneleigh and nearly lost it again! it flew off the pole when the wind picked up but luckily wrapped itself around a rather confused person 30 odd yards up the field
