Went out this morning to the Van to go to work, to find that some scumbags had got into the van and had my tools away, Totally gutted.

I hope they die a thousand deaths in excruciating pain for the grief they have given me today.

It's going to cost me thousands to replace them all.

The police said that i must not kill them if i find them, which i find is very unfair in my view

They even stole a sheet of plasterboard for gods sake and the scrap metal i had in a little box.

I really hope they die soon

I feel your pain.

One of our vans got robbed in broad daylight whilst on site in Docklands, London.

A transit van drove onto site, parked next to ours, crowbarred the door, had all the tools away and drove off, middle of the day!

Someone managed to get the reg number and it had cloned plates.

Total scumbags

I am so grateful I live in a low crime area, but even we've had scrap nicked.

You have my sympathy. Crime and corruption really angers me. The majority go about their business and a few wallys spoil life on a routine basis.

I'm really worried that things are getting worse too. So many people think it's okay to take stuff from work and other little, petty things but corruption undermines everything.

Having recently been burgled I too feel your pain. But don't give up, look on Ebay and Gumtree as thieves are lazy and if they think they will not get caught they make mistakes. Two of my watches ended up on Ebay and the thief has been caught, just waiting for the date for Crown Court.

But the wider thing is how so many people will buy goods that are obviously nicked, decent people who would not go out and do anything wrong when offered something "cheap" lose all decency and provide the scum with an outlet. Some even justify this by thinking the insurance will have paid out so nothing has been lost.

I have said it many times, but the justice system is so lax that a slap on the wrist is what most get.

That's so unfair m8 - I know it's not proper stuff but if you need to borrow any tools just let me know

Sorry to hear your news, we had one of our vans broken into last year and all the tools pinched. Our unit got ram raided about 2 weeks ago and loads to tools got nicked. It makes you wonder why we bother.

Why on Earth can no van manufacturer manage to build one that's secure?  If just one of them could build a van that couldn't be broken into by a teenager with a butter knife, no matter how unreliable, they'd clean up.

This is happening all over now and only getting worse…if the scumbags are caught they should get their hands chopped off...

It's called a Centurian Tank, loads available ex-army, mind only 2 gallons per mile and 40 MPH. Still traffic jams are no problem, just drive over the top of anything  :d  :d  :d

Anyone that steals a tradesmans tools should have their hands chopped off, and I'm not joking.

I'm 65 and I still have some tools I bought in 1965 when I was a 15 year old apprentice, some of them cost me allmost a weeks wages.

If some toerag stole them I would want to kill them slowly.....very very slowly
