KugaWestie Posted December 14, 2014 Author Posted December 14, 2014 Eight weeks old and Sam is growing up lovely Quote
KugaWestie Posted December 27, 2014 Author Posted December 27, 2014 Today we had a fantastic day with Sam. He is just over 10 weeks old now. We picked him up from the breeder at 10am and took him back to our home. He stayed with us most of the day and we dropped him back at 5pm. I have to say he was an absolute pleasure, no trouble after the initial excitement and investigation. I took him out in the garden every 30 minutes for a pee and got a result every time. Only one minor mishap by the back door in the whole day, which for a puppy that is not house trained yet is excellent. He also took to his new blanket and stayed on it whilst we sat and ate lunch. I think we have stumbled across an excellent breeder who produces fantastic dogs. It was a massive struggle to leave him behind when we dropped him back off, none of us wanted to leave him. We did manage to wear him out though during the day I cannot wait for the next visit! 4 Quote

pistonbroke Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 At the rate he'se growing your going to need a ladder to feed him soon Nice doggy , love labs myself although I've never owned one but had 2 border collies . My daughter has just aquired one (border collie that is ) for the grandkids , they are going through the same emotions as you , only on loan atm Seems a crazy way of doing things to me ,must be a bit heart wrenching for you and the family 1 Quote
KugaWestie Posted January 25, 2015 Author Posted January 25, 2015 Another day with Sam today, we picked him up at 10am and took him home for the day, and kept him until 5pm when we returned him for more training. He was brilliant again today, very well behaved. Now he has had his second Vaccination we were allowed to take him for a little walk in the park as well. Roll on two weeks when we get him for the day again. The kids love him! Quote
