CL290005
Matt I know you said you did not want to but perhaps we should consider Mallory! Unless there is a Bedford even or perhaps Snetterton as Steve is going there

Unless there is a Bedford even or perhaps Snetterton as Steve is going there Not sure bout Mallory, Bedford I like but others will struggle with noise (and I might) but Snett does appeal, is there a suitable 105 day ? SteveH
Snett at the start of Sept is 105, I also can't do Bedford. Mallory is an option but worth looking around for another August date first I reckon.

Barry Ashcroft
What db is yours Matt? What do they make you rev it too?
matt nossiter
What db is yours Matt? What do they make you rev it too? Depend where we go Barry, Oulton is normally just under 105 (Oulton always seem to read higher than other tracks for some reason) , Cadwell was about 103 last time out, Bedford for some reason reads even lower, hovering just under 101 every time I've been there. In general I always try and book 105 days, Bedford is the exception because they only run 101 days. For reference my runs a 7" dia x approx 30" Simpson silencer with Acoustafil packing and a Reverie airbox to reduce induction noise as well. They normally test anywhere between 6500 and 75000 rpm regardless of what you tell them it revs to.

matt nossiter
That took a while didn't it Matt Aye, it did ! , I still keep the revs lower if I'm not being chased or chasing someone , don't see the point in stressing the engine for no reason, like to think I'm fairly mechanically sympathetic and the busa hasn't missed a beat so far, no doubt I'm due some pain soon though.
