SootySport
My bathtub was almost perfectly balanced apart from 1kilo, so no point in trying to dial that out, must be the bacon roll and coffee I had a few minutes before. Thanks to our boys for an informative morning.

Pistol Pete
Chris' car has a 2l vx, and Tim's is a Sigma not zetec. I will pop some of my pictures up tonight. Following on from Kev's lead we could also have a servicing morning .
Andy Banks
Following on from Kev's lead we could also have a servicing morning . Excellent idea, although I fear service "day" might be more apt I'm no expert mechanic but I'd be more than happy to get my hands dirty and make proper use of my new WSCC gimp suit overalls. Graham0127
Pete,Paul and Kev, what the hell have you started ? Got home and started shedding some weight.......the car.....I'm beyond saving ! Removed spare wheel and carrier, wiper motor and mechanism (what a ship job),fire extinguisher and jack. Then took out my beloved drinks carrier and contents plus a few bits from boot box. Think I will leave carpets but seat runners from my seat really need to go...I am 6'2" and dropping the seat is overdue. Well......25.7 kilos.....big pile of bits for less weight than I expected . So I am down to a slightly more respectable 575 kilos, but guess 20 or so will go back on with the zetec . Still can't believe my car needs no adjustment to suspension, but the zetec may change this, but at least I know, even with my limited knowledge I will be able to sort it. Any help with my own weight would be appreciated......is liposuction the human equivalent of carbonitis ?
Tigger
It is addictive Graham and some people can get a bit anal with it. Next time we have a meeting, I'm sure we can get a group of us together to advise where the most weight loss could be achieved.
Graham0127
Really don't want to get too hung up on it. Like my carpets ,but would change my seats (Westfield sports seats) as they are a bit tight across the shoulders and battery is an area where I know I could save 5kg. When my new engine is in ,I would like somewhere between 570 and 590.

You should be fine Graham, mines got the blacktop in it and I've not gone crazy on weight saving but it was still 570kgs, I did take the carpets out but don't think they're overly heavy It's amazing the difference the weight makes though, I know its an extreme example but I could lap Woodbridge about 3 seconds faster on my own then I managed with Dave in the passenger seat. I found I had to brake much earlier with a passenger
