s2rrr
My spinner was an Invictar ??. The blue Westy owner never mentioned anything and is very chilled anyway, we can discuss this over a few beers on Friday as usual he's my drinking pal, no worries at all. Even if we looked busy it was all part of the plot, any time/next time just drop in A good day out but checking my video I did not have it recording during a lot of my laps, doh never mind. Some nice motors as well that Beemer was flying but I'm told has shed loads of suspension and upgrade bits onboard. Quite a lot of courteous driving seen as well, I just kept out of everyones way - I hope. Cheers Bob
AdamR
Cheers for the kind words chaps! We both turned out totally fine and the car should be ready to roll tomorrow if I get a couple of hours on it. Main delay has been waiting for my tank to come back to me having been repaired (2 weeks!) but I made use of the time to convert my brakes to twin masters (I'd bought the parts on the Friday before the track day, sod's law!). Oh - and about the wishbone bolt thing, mine were in 'backwards' (nut facing the tank). Luckily the depressions in the tank, the fact that is has a rear ARB (the mounting bracket takes up a thread or two of the bolt) and a bit of wood acting like an IVA protection bar did enough to stop it puncturing. They will be coming out and being swapped over before re-assembly though!
Hellski
Great news Adam and good to hear you've got it turned around so quickly Hope to meet you out on track in the new year
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
It was your post Adam that got me to pick up the IVA kit with the chassis; things like the tank protection bar I want to be having permanently fitted, which may or may not mean a bit of jigging around with the ARB. Easier to do at the body off stage though.
