not sure tbh. need to know what to do to diagnose the problem. will speak to blink as they know all things about the mx5 engine

just hope it's not an expensive fix

Have you got the plastic restrictor in the camcover breather pipe?

Also hVe a look in the back of Rods manual, I think there may be some suggestions there

mine goes to a catch tank with the pcv valve blanked off. absolutely zilch in the catch tank.

If memory serves me right I think Rick (tigbrother) had a problem with oil loss on his once, which was on his blog. Not in front of my PC today so can't link you to it. Mark will probably have a link for it

When we was following you last night Bob and I could smell burning oil when you accelerate so I think a compression test is first on the list.  Gauge is in me garage if you want it.
