Tel's Tales 039– Ty Croes, Anglesey 6th and 7th Sept 2014 The finals for this 2 day event saw 22 Westfield entrants if I include Marshall Rowland and Steve Davies in The Lotus Elise so it was a good turnout and promised some great competition in most classes. Late Friday afternoon arrival for some of us gave us time to see the end of the bike trackday before walking the course ourselves and checking the rumble strip condition and heights were the same as last year. TEL's TALE's 060/16 Croft 28th March 2016 Easter Monday is always Croft sprint so most of us got loaded up on Sunday. I managed it just before we had thunder and lightening and a massive hailstorm so things did not look good for the morning. Shelsley Walsh 4/5th May 2013 Eight WSCC Speed Series competitors headed to Shelsley Walsh to sample the 2-day format at this historic venue; all in roadgoing classes. Tel's Tales 018: MIRA 3rd August 2013 Due to holidays I had missed the earlier MIRA event so I was eager to get out there again. Tel's Tales 047– 2015 Season- Hethel Sunday 3rd May 2015 For me and Steve travelling south for 4 hrs was fairly easy despite the slow roads around Kings Lynn and East Anglia. Tel's Tales 033– 3 Sisters 29th June Sprint 2014 After a night that included more rain following yesterday's wet Aintree event we woke to a dry day but a track that was slippy due to a 4 hour kart race the night before. Tel’s tales – Harewood weekend 15thand 16thSept 2018 This weekend saw the speed series visiting god’;s own county of Yorkshire and sample the local weather which once again was windy and at times wet as well as a little chilly. It’s the only hillclimb Steve  and I do as its only 30 mins away and on  the doorstep. Tel's Tales 15th/16th May Blyton

Tel’s Tales – Blyton 15th & 16th May 2021   Well what a relief it was for most of us as we got back on track sprinting following the long layoff due to the Covid Virus lockdown. Tel's Tales 015: 3 Sisters 30th June 2013 Just a short hop down the road to 3 sisters and most of us and the paddock banter started on Saturday night. First problem was that the bay allocation had put slick shod Westfield on a pebbled/gravel area so we moved to alternative parts of the paddock to keep our tyres clean. Blyton Sat/Sun 11th/12thAug 2018 On Thursday I was in shorts and T shirt as I got my car ready for the weekend run by Longton and District Motor Club who had a very small entry but the event still went ahead. Harewood 6th& 7thJuly 2019   Once a year the speed series circus visits God’s own county to tackle the longest hillclimb in the country at Harewood. Tel's Tales 032– Aintree 28th June Sprint 2014 My car was ready having had a complete strip down and new main bearings fitted (and big ends as a precaution) after the loss of oil pressure at Pembrey and I also had a new 2nd gear fitted as the dogs were worn and it kept jumping out of gear at the most inappropriate moments. 3 Sisters Sunday 12st Sept 2019 Following the last few really hot weeks the weather was taking a change as we approached the first day of Autumn (1/9/19). Tels’s Tales Rockingham 26th March 2017   Well what a way to start my season! Spent most of the winter putting spare engine in and doing several other mods so hoped for a good shakedown but my clutch failed to work after convoy sighting run.
