Tel's Tales 054– 2015 Season- Anglesey 13th and 14th May 2015 The build up to this June event run by MAC and Chester MC started to cast some doubts when the finals saw that we had different numbers on both days (never seen that in my 15 plus years of competing), there was to be no cafe/restaurant open and maybe no catering at all! For those who have not had the opportunity to visit, Pembrey is an airfield circuit located on the south west coast of Wales, about 20 minutes beyond Llanelli. Tel's Tales 024 Already getting a bit stir crazy so thought I would go into print again. My engine is out of the car ready for a strip down and check following this seasons successes and a need to manufacture a more reliable alternator/flywheel/24 toothed trigger wheel to use with the MBE system. Tel's Tales 036– MIRA 2nd August 2014 An early 0500hrs start again for me along with a very good chance of rain saw me on my way to Mira for the start of the weekend which also included the round trip to Hethel on Sunday (see Blog). Well round 2 has now taken place and the "wet" rule came into place even though it was not wet but a cold track with not a lot of grip so well done to the 3 drivers who got themselves out there. TEL's TALE's 062/16 Ty Croes, Anglesey 30 April- 1 May 2016 Well what a miserable showing from the Speed Series guys. Tel's Tales 038– Curborough 23rd August 2014 This event marked a change for everyone, I think, as it was an introduction to the newish figure of 8 layout rather than the single or double lap course. There was a full entry and hence it was likely to be a slow day but hopefully the new challenge would make up for the anticipated low number of runs. The weather was also promising to be unpredictable but that’s not unusual and the promise of 100 points for this 1.6e event made up for the downsides.

Tel's Tales 043– 2015 Season- Rockingham 22nd March 2015 Well this was it, the start of the new 2015 season for 12 Westfield guys to clear the cobwebs and prove that their winter mods worked and their driving had not gone rusty over the winter period. TEL's TALE's 064/16 Snetterton 21st and 22nd May 2016 ( B19 event) For me this round trip of 400 miles is worth it as Snetterton is a great track with 2laps and some very tricky and technical corners. Blyton 18th& 19thMay 2019   Well after a slow start to the season with low numbers of drivers this event proved very popular with 9 Westfields and 4 Class J2 single eaters taking part. Blyton weekend 13th/14thJuly 2019   As usual the trackday on Friday was well attended and most people were very happy with their track time and the open pit lane as well as the tuition package offered by Alan and Nick Mugglestone of Triple M Motorsport. Tel's Tales 020: Curborough 24th August 2013-- Race 27 Well Steve's car was now repaired with new bottom wishbone, new bottom bearing, and a new wings fitted to all 4 corners so we were ready for the 2 lap event at Curborough run by BMMC attended by 17 WSCC sprinters. Tel's Tales 026 – 3 Sisters 6th April 2014 Some of the competitors had a few preparation problems before the event including Steve Everall not being able to find any polish for his car and having the rear of the tub resprayed after a shunt last year.
