Gatouille
Scott I made little holes to prevent rustNo leak, I'm so proud!!! Little FACET and pressure regulator, I find this strange with Carbs? RS2000 FA04 do you what does it mean ?
7sRWild
Great to see pics of your car out in the snow,I go out as often as I can here in Canada. Anything above minus five celsius is blatting weather...
Gatouille
Hu ! I guess I saw you in WSCC magazine ? Where I live exactly there is no snow it's only 300 m above sea level, but there are mountains very close and snow of course...
Captain Colonial
You have your own inspection pit? I could get jealous...! RS2000 was, of course, a model of the Ford Escort, and the writing style I've seen a thousand times at scrap yards, so it's possible that part was from a scrapped RS2000 - but that's just a guess. As for FA04, could be one of a hundred things - part of the actual serial number, VIN, registration number, just about anything, really. Gatouille
Tying to make it less noisy :First brand new rockwool and a brand new ewhaust easy to repack. Second, I'd like a second exhaust between the main one and the 4 in 1 like the photo.I hope I will have a more confortable and quiet exhaust... SootySport
That second exhaust, as you call it, is a catalytic converter, not necessary on your car. You would do better to change the old narrow silencer to a 6 or 7 inch re-packable silencer. I also see you still have the UK registration plates, how do you get away with that? Gatouille
I will not ask for a catalytic, but a primary exhaust, the same look as a catalytic but inside a classic silencer
Gatouille
It will look like this ID 51 mm and 51 mm OD close to the main silencer .
Gatouille
Here is it :Before : I hope it will be less noisy....

bhouse
How do you plan to get the car through CT inspections? I would like to take my Eleven to France but have been told that it will be very difficult to get it recognised in France... Brian
Gatouille
I didn't, I own a company based in................... London And my car has british numbers and of course V5C. It's impossible to have french numbers with THIS westy (from 1998 and carbs) Carbs are forbidden after 1992 in France, and it is a Q plate, so I will never have COC. If Your Eleven is from before 1984, so cars more than 30 years old may have a specific system with FFVE http://www.ffve.org/Procedure_obtention_attestation_carte_grise Carte grise de collection is easier to have for cars more than 30 years old, as a lot of people has made some "wrong declarations with Sevens" It's harder today. I hope this is helpful, By mail I will try to help you more But please note that trying to import an exotic car in France is stronger than driving your seven on planet Mars I'm going to try to win this : (price is running one day on Caterham French Championship)
