After many thoughts, I will keep vineyards...and other assets ;-)

Glad to hear our Royal Mail kept their end of the deal!  Thanks for letting me know. :)

It's only the UK HMRC that takes a month to send a letter to France. One that has a code that expires in 28 days!

We will have you spending lots of Euros Gatouille, I think you need new dampers, the Spaxs are really harsh and very old I see.

Don't worry about cleaning it, just drive it.

You're right Norman !

So Soot1e , Spax are the worst, I will think about pro tech, so much power with bad dampers will be hard to drive (I don't mean pilot it)

Thank you for your advise !

Hi Gatouille,

We are very good at spending other peoples money for them here.

My car came with Spax dampers the same as yours. They were later replaced by a set of AVO's. In comparison, the Spax ones were much less able to cope with poor road surfaces. They are adjustable, but even on the soft settings the wheels would be bounced off the road by bumps. The worst were the joints in concrete surfaced motorways (Autoroutes). The bumps would go straight up my spine. In comparison, the AVO's are much more civilised and will allow faster cornering. French roads are generally much better maintained than British ones, but even so, a new and better set of dampers will transform your car and allow faster cornering. Did a trip to the Vercors near Grenoble in the car straight after getting the Avo's fitted. 600km a day for two days each way.

Protech from Procomp who know how to set up the valves properly, yes they are good and I have them fitted to my car, was a revelation in comfort after the Spax's and they have a wonderful feel for the road and track.
