User0083
Sorry they ain't great, all taken on the iPhone, from where I was sat. My nephew loved the sounds of the V8's and I enjoyed the weather! Bit of a who's who...

stickymint
Good to see everyone, sadly I took an early bath, as I noticed my oil pump belt on my megabusa was starting to fray. Does anyone local to Wakefield have a spare one? As I would like to get it sorted asap, as I am at Cadwell on Wed evening............ Andrew
Cracking day! perfect weather, and I don't think we had any stoppages. Big thanks to Mr C for sorting this one. What with one thing and another.. (Having my tow car keys run over on track and destroyed!) I only managed a few paddock shots. A few scary examples here: When you get shadows under your "moobs" it's time to keep your shirt on! JeffC
we get very little Sunshine so i need to take advantage of it! good day that went very smoothly no incidents which was recognised by the Rs organisers , they have offered me the same session for next year, Ive offered to pay full money for the session next year as I almost felt guilty that they lost money on us today, so would be £150 which I think is a bargain still bearing in mind we got 4 double garages and a private paddock so roll on 2014. JeffC
bit of footage from the morning session, there was no great pace from me yesterday , I think I will finally admit im passed it and old age has the better of me found myself thinking about the "what ifs" and what could go wrong whilst doing 130mph down the straights and couldnt get them out of my head all day which resulted in me not pushing the car at all, was sort shifting, braking early, generally playing it safe. I will conclude that the car is epic and far more capable than I am, just wish I could have convinced Pete to do a session in it to see what It could do,I suspect It could go a good 5 seconds a lap quicker , Ive looked at one of my sessions and looking at the sort of times I was doing I was actually lapping at a similar pace in Steve H"s car when it was a standard 170bhp duratec time to hang my boots up I think

That new engine is a monster, what have you set the rev limit at? The gearbox is obviously happy?
