To quickly pick up the build where I left off yesterday, we've now got a car that looks something like this

With the chassis assembly completed there's only a few bits left to fit.

The windscreen needs to be double sided so is made as two halfs glued together.

And the final step is to fit the wheels.

In a wierd way, everything would be opposite if this was done, if you know what I mean

I've been playing with a couple of the revisons and built up another model. This one was a bit of a rush job to test the concept, so it's a rough around the edges and not as tidy as the red car. I just wanted to make sure everything fitted ok and is the right shape so making it look pretty and being careful with the glue took a bit of a back seat.

For the touring spec, now with option of spare wheel and numberlate carrier for the back

Clamshell wings for the classic look and an aeroscreen for the racers (although probably not looking so good together)
