iain m
I watched it from year one ( Dunsfold is just up the road) and whilst it was all getting a bit silly the last episode I watched was Clarkson spinnning the rear wheels up on a new Bentley, not content with damaging the wheel and tyre he kept going until the debris severely damaged the rear wing. I am surprised manufacturers still lend them cars. The second half was him slagging off a Reliant Robin and stupid stories about the folk who bought them, then driving around town on full lock using his excessive weight to topple it over at junctions. More CBBs actor than motoring journalist. It scores well in my dislike for what I call humiliation TV, but in his case he is unwittingly humiliating himself not the contestants. If this case becomes a precedent http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/motorsport/9823844/Can-historic-racing-survive.html they might not be driving any more expensive machinery! As for Clarkson , feel I just wasted an hour , sorry but he'se coming over as a 1st class embarrasing pratt , hammond sounds more like VBH than ever , Glad I taped it and could skim through all the usual gubbins driving very expensive machinery (rich twits toys) up and down an aircraft runway as if it proves something , the only thing it proves is the inflated ego's of the ******s on the programme
Norman Verona
The Bentley wasn't an historic car. If Bentley are happy and it's insured, which it will be, then I doubt anyone got upset.
Graham0127
Cannot believe any member is slagging the show off. You`ve probably all got 200 other channels and an off button. As for the licence payers money....well the fee is 5/8 of f@%k all and there`s plenty of other rubbish on the BBC to moan about. The show doesn`t claim to be educational or interlectual.....it`s all a bit tongue in cheek & if you take it seriously as a piece of journalistic TV............. ......Take up embroidery or turnover or turn off. Sell your Westie and vote for the Green Party..... It`s what it is........fun Rant over Awaiting fallout........

Norman Verona
Mrs Clarkson is/was a dedicated Caterham fan and owned an R500. Not that's got anything to do with her old man.
