User0083 Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Hammond in a hyundrayaoe May rallying a Bentley Clarkson with his P45 Say what you like about top gear... It's entertainment and far better than old has been's trying to dance, ice skate, live in isolation together or eat kangaroo balls! Top Gear HD's on series link. Not one of the others has been watched passed the first trail 10 mins... Just to see what the country races on about. Quote

That's a pretty poor alternative, I agree, but the Clarkson piece on the silly car was a waste of time and licence payers' money. Damian Lewis was quite amusing though, and made a decent effort in difficult conditions. Quote
Stuart Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 I agree with Motco - the programme is always contrived but that 'P45' one was very stupid indeed. If that's the best they can come up with for the opening show then I fear for the rest of the series 'cos they must be completely running out of ideas. Doubtless the format will continue until it has been milked to death though. Quote
AidanPlace Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Made me giggle for an hour, and much beter than celebrity ice diving or whatever Quote
Norman Verona Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 It may well be that the stupid car feature was enjoyed by the majority of viewers. I can see why we, sports car nutters thought it was stupid. Quote
