KugaWestie Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Norman, Did you not cut every bolt to exact length to save weight? So would electric mirrors not add extra pointless mass and wiring to go wrong? I kinda set mirrors first time I drive a car and leave them. Why do you need to re adjust mirrors? I do not need to re-adjust mirrors every time I drive now I got fed up of getting in the car and discovering they were knocked out of position, normally from walking past them in the garage. I have found a solution to that problem, so job done. You dont like the idea - fine. We are all different, that is what makes the world go round Quote
Norman Verona Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Yes, I didn't say I would fit them, as I wouldn't. My carbon mirrors weigh a few grammes. I was going to say, on the thread about packing the car with tents etc, that the way I did it allowed me to use my centre mirror. The wing mirrors are so small they're OK as overtaking mirrors but that's all. Quote
