Ere!!!

I ain't puttin' them on my car! I got the position just so, few spots of super glue and sorted!

I'm myth'd to why someone would want to mess about putting electric mirrors on a Westfield... Would they not be better off buying an MGF or Toyota Corolla!!!

I like the rawness of my Westfield!

I don't seem to have a problem with mirrors getting moved.

 

However I can sympathise. When strapped in, actually even when not strapped in, it's impossible to reach the handbrake in my car which is situated above the passengers knees. So I removed it when I fitted 2 pot AP rear calipers which have no handbrake.

 

My tame MOT man over here just ignores it and does the handbrake test with the footbrake. Bless him and the 20€ he gets.

Norman,

Did you not cut every bolt to exact length to save weight? So would electric mirrors not add extra pointless mass and wiring to go wrong? I kinda set mirrors first time I drive a car and leave them. Why do you need to re adjust mirrors?
