User0083 Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Ere!!! I ain't puttin' them on my car! I got the position just so, few spots of super glue and sorted! I'm myth'd to why someone would want to mess about putting electric mirrors on a Westfield... Would they not be better off buying an MGF or Toyota Corolla!!! I like the rawness of my Westfield! Quote

Norman Verona Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Cup holders? Coat hooks? I don't seem to have a problem with mirrors getting moved. However I can sympathise. When strapped in, actually even when not strapped in, it's impossible to reach the handbrake in my car which is situated above the passengers knees. So I removed it when I fitted 2 pot AP rear calipers which have no handbrake. My tame MOT man over here just ignores it and does the handbrake test with the footbrake. Bless him and the 20€ he gets. User0083 Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Norman, Did you not cut every bolt to exact length to save weight? So would electric mirrors not add extra pointless mass and wiring to go wrong? I kinda set mirrors first time I drive a car and leave them. Why do you need to re adjust mirrors? Quote
