So whats with the adverts that have just appeared? Why can't things just be left alone?

They may be Speed Series sponsors but not all contributors to this forum know/care about the SS, so if they must be on the forum put them in the SS section.

Spotted them earlier when they were at the top of each page  i didn't like them up there as i had to scroll for miles to find the text on each thread :bangshead: it's much better now they're down below.

I can't grumble too much about sponsorship and advertising as i guess it helps keep the subs down for those of us that pay to use the facility.

Banner adverts are for sale, for those who are willing to invest.

I guess that anyone can PAY for the advert.

It's what keeps this business afloat, it's called MONEY.

Before you all complain just bear in mind that membership is down, the membership fees haven't gone up and we have some wonderful people who spend their time to help run this business.

If I was in the UK I would volunteer to help but it's a bit difficult from deepest darkest France. And, of course, I don't own a Westfield.

So, count to ten and think what's all this about before shooting from the hip.

ed to add that Scott posted while I was typing.

The largest part of sponsors income supports the club through adverts in the club magazine. Many sponsors go further with larger adverts further boosting club funds.

This years sponsors are been offered banner adverts till the end of the year as a thank you for thier support. If your a sponsor and youve not supplied one, please contact pr@wscc.co.uk. If you would like to become a sponsor for 2013 contact pr@wscc.co.uk
