Bob My way of dealing with that is by applying 'The Motco Law of Universal Incompetence'. I always assume that the person -professional, trade, service, whomsoever - I'm dealing with is incompetent until and unless they show me otherwise. I am rarely surprised... The day I bought my car in Bromsgrove, we drove there in sunshine and back in heavy rain. The hood was put on with me in the car.
