Jenko
Check out a Sylva J15 - Stunning car, and a good one can be built for around 10 - 11k - They use the sigma engine.
langy
Jenko, just had a look at the J15, not for me from the pics, might be better in the flesh i guess.
Cleggy the Spyder Man
they do look better in the flesh - but weather gear as far as I know is a not starter the fulcrum is very nice but again weather gear may be an issue

hilux
How about a ginetta g40r? http://www.ginetta.com/cars_g40r That's hit the spot..... :t-up: I love Ginetta's - massive racing pedigree, superb cars. I had a G27 with a John Eales Rover V8 engine shoehorned into it - one of only a couple made as the larger G33's were designed for the V8 but were much bigger - blinkin' quick - superb handling. Would like to do a road going G20. Ginetta G33 Will build/refurb a Ginetta G20 one day
Cleggy the Spyder Man
had a go in a g33 20 odd years ago - was impressive back then and still look nice today
Norman Verona
Isn't Sylva now owned by Brian of BGH fame?
peterg
Sylva was started (in 1984 with the Sylva Star) and as far as I know continues under Jeremy Philips - he is the contact name for Sylva Autokits... The Sylva Fury was taken on by Mark Fisher who developed it further and marketed it as the Fisher Fury.

Norman Verona
I'm not surprised. Brian is in his 70s and I wouldn't want to take on a new venture like that at 70+
peterg
That's the Fury (previously Fisher Fury), Sylva has always been owned and run by Jeremy Phillips
Norman Verona
Peter's right, Brian took on the Fury, not the Sylva.
