Possible Meet Near Uttoxeter?

Not wishing to tread on the toes of our official Cannock/Stafford A O, Pew, but if any of the owners in or near Uttoxeter would like an informal evening get together and a jar of beer, when summer eventually arrives, I'm happy to try and co-ordinate a one-off informal evening at The Bramshall Old Inn (in Bramshall!) I know of Daniel H., Sweet Orange, Pingu, Cam (although his car is not road legal) and the landlord of said pub to name 6 including me, and I think there are some others. I'm thinking one evening in June or July. PM me if interested, and state preference for a weekday evening or a weekend. The Landlord would probably welcome us more if it was a weekday, because he would be likely to be less busy with people dining at the pub. Monday or Wednesday would suit me best.

Oh and any regulars of the Cannock or Derby areas from slightly further afield would be welcome as well!

Monday evenings would suit me best, but i will go with the flow.

It would be good to have a meet up in this area, i have been to Shardlow but it is quite a distance away.After a busy day at work i can easily talk my self out of making the journey.

Right, sounds like it could be a "goer" so I'll have a word with the Landlord when I next see him, to make sure he is happy, then we'll try and fix a date.

If the weather turns out good on the chosen evening, we could maybe have a run over to Stone, and then back by some other route, perhaps via Cheadle and Alton, then back to the pub for a natter.

I think they also have a bit of a classic car meet at the Bramshall once a month?

I've now spoken to the Landlord, and he would be delighted to host us. Monday evenings would be best (not busy with regular customers) So how about 11th. June?

I suggest if the weather is reasonable we aim to meet at 6.45pm, with a view to going for a short blat about 7.00pm, maybe about 1 hour, then back to the pub for a natter and drink.

Should give everybody time to eat beforehand, but if not, they do good pub meals at The Bramshall Old Inn.

Going to Appleby Horse Fair on the 7th 'till 10th....sleeping rough in a horse box on a layby and soaking up the sights...
