Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
It does look a very nicely put together car from those pics, always a shame when there's non under the bonnet though.
M444TTB
I wasn't going to post it as this will probably spark off all sorts of other debate, but... www.pistonheads.com/sales/3502707.htm If I were to buy at the price discussed it wouldn't be exactly as in the advert. P.S. please don't get my thread locked!
carbonizer
Whoops Matt, now youve done it Real good advice on here though, why not go and look at both. Steve
adamnreeves
Yes I've seen that doing the rounds for a while. I belief it is the one that was built by a Rolls Royce engineer and by the looks of the detail looks like the one. This would be a lovely GT car, although looks like no boot but you have a large tank at 50L, the Westfield long range is 40Litre so that tells you it has been used for cruising. The carbed version sounds nice. Probably not the car for the track as you would have to spend money on ARBs and ripping stuff off, etc. on top of the price tag. If it were in not so good condition or level of equipment and therefore cheaper then it wouldn't be so bad.
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Just found a load more pics of the CVH car here also looks nicely built and finished under the bonnet too.
M444TTB
And then worry about oil surge from what I gather! The simplest solution would be the 3rd way - Tom sells me his lovely Zetec track/sprint car for £8k. Spend the rest of my life moaning about the need for a helmet everywhere then :-P www.pistonheads.com/sales/3533723.htm

Barely visible on my phone, but good snooping! I can't say I'm a fan of unfiltered carbs or TB's mind but the engine appears tidy!
adamnreeves
This is going to surprise a lot of people on here but having look over both those ads I'd go for the CVH! Its 2K cheaper looks more track focused. Run it for a while and you can always chuck in a Zetec later on.

No it's not a good idea, but in some of those shorts, i was tring to work out if they were acually working on stuff, and just doing quick tidies for photos; one to may be ask about? M444TTB
The company seems to to do resto's so I kinda expect they have done some work on it. Perhaps a personal car too?
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
May be, looks like they've had a few bits custom made by Soft Bit's for Sevens, which is usally really good quality gear. Very popular in Caterham circles.
M444TTB
Based on the Lotus and & badges i think they wish it was a Caterham! I did notice a few bits of tape in this pic. Anything to worry about? https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-bFN9k1J1LNE/T1TkhWttB1I/AAAAAAAAD3o/BeAyMZaL8RM/s619/IMGP0897.JPG
