Liam Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Don't think I would have got there - got sidetracked by Laurin Klement. Lets have another to relieve the boredom of sitting in a fire tender at the Britcar 24 hours Quote

Norman Verona Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 It looks like a big volvo, or could be a fiat but how about a Gordon Keeble Quote
Norman Verona Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Looking more carefully, I'm now sure it's a Volvo. Echo, my little friend, spend your money elsewhere. If it is a Volvo they are slow, dull, boring and generally just plain. I'll find you something worthwhile renovating. Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Hmm, big two door version of a Volvo saloon was my first thought too. (Warning, I'm hopeless at these, particularly if it's earlier than very late seventies/early eighties) Quote
Norman Verona Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 LOVELY 1977 MGB GT S reg, clean body in great condition (garaged) with re-conditioned engine for sale at give away price £1800 Current MOT & Tax. Inspections welcome. Call 07975 881364 OK, it's a rubber bumper model but at that price well worth the money. Quote
Norman Verona Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 And here's another one. This time a roadster. MGB ROADSTER 1975 Damask red, 70,000 miles. 4 speed plus overdrive. Tax to Nov. MOT to April 2013. New sills, radiator, unleaded cylinder head, photo restoration in 1999, full history, £2,200 ONO. and only £600 more than the GT Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 It's a Volvo 142, search for images on that model even brings up the photo you've linked to above! (they seem quite popular for those American Hotrod style "smoothing" out type restorations, where a lot of the body trim and twiddly bits are removed/blended in. Quote
