Paul Morcom Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 No not a Talbot. Can't be many French car manufacturers left. This is one of the big ones, so not a small obscure company. Not a prototype. Many thousands were produced. Possibly the Renault Megane of the era. Quote
Man On The Clapham Omnibus Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Delahaye . Papa said to Nicole: "No not a Delahaye" Has anyone mentioned Renault? Quote
bhouse Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Thanks for the clues! How about a Renault Celtaquatre? Possibly 1934 - although with a 10 year + production run that's more of a guess than anything... Quote

Not sure of the exact age of this car but they were in production between 1934 and 1938 and c44,000 units were manufactured. Engine size: 1463cc and a massive 34hp. Two tone colour scheme was standard, 400franc option for a single colour! Well done, your turn now Quote
bhouse Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Renault came up with some odd names even then... Great colour scheme though! Rightyho. And next: (edit because I couldn't spell Renault)) Quote
