More confused about that clue atm , all i could think was fatbaldbloke was taking the word "frisky" in its purely literal sense , as in

"feeling frisky"

But then I never was any good at The Times crossword  :laugh:

Ahh, it is a frisky family 3, however the clue is for the picture I meant to post and not the one I actually did!

I'll be back (had some virus problems with the pc which may also account for the wrong photo).

A Chapparal 2, quite a late one, say a 2J ?

Or am I being duped by the colour scheme and number?

You got it , except all the Hap Sharpe Jim Hall creations were Chaperral 2's

The Chapperall 2  was the first , the much later 2J being the twin fan car which like the Brabham F1 fan car was banned from racing after they both won races

The name Chapperall also being  the proper name for the american "Road Runner" , the co star along with partner "Wile e Cyote" of many hilarious Looney Tunes cartoons  :t-up:

Would have loved to been at the design reviews for that one..... :laugh:  :D  :laugh:  :laugh:  :D

It looks vaguely like someone started a boat build, got fed up, inverted it and started cutting apertures... :laugh:  :laugh:

I know I'm not giving much away, but it's an American Kit car......
