"Bristol"  referred to the engine , there was an MG version amongst others, thats almost certainly a replica as the body shape is wrong IMO

Yes, Amilcars can be very pretty racers. A closer look at that suggests Bentley chassis...closer?

Cockpit reminds me of an ERA, but the engine appears to be a four cyclinder.

I can easily identify that my dinner is cooked, so I am going to attend to that and hope somebody has come up trumps when I return...
