I'm really guessing, but is the odd engine type a sleevevalve, and is the north-east car manufacturer Humber?
Posted

OK, not an Austin, not a Humber, not a sleeve valve engine.

I'm going to have to get more specific for you as this one is quite hard.  The engine only had six moving parts... And two of those were crankshafts.

Its a peddle car ?

Ha ha, no, it actually made 25 bhp!

Next clue will make Buzz happy - it were made in Yorkshire.

Are you naming a car or a place?

It's wrong, either way! :p

Looks to late to be a Beaver?

Mind you what "Beaver" means in your language would be right up your street! :p  :p

I couldn't possibly comment...!

Except to say it isn't a Beaver!

C'mon you lot, your Googling skills are weak today.

Two new clues:

> Huddersfield made

> Named after what the engine didn't have

Go on then, its the "Valveless" by David Brown Gears, (I think I must have been channelling the spirit of Blatters there...)

Hooray!  At last!  Indeed it is the Valveless car - check out the funky engine diagram in the link - amazing stuff.  Well done mate, your turn!

Wow.

OK, here goes... clicky

The front bumper looks like an inverted Citroen logo, but right now I can't get the thought out of my head that the car is eating those people.  Don't know, so I'll call it the Pac-Man.
