OK you lot, I've obviously stumped you, so you need a clue.

From a top world manufacturer, but not when it was made in the late 60s.

LHD so unlikely to be Japanese, can't be American as you'd never get one of them fat batsrads in it never mind two  :p  :D

Judging by the size of the overiders it could be Swedish so Volvo or Saab?

Saab Sonnet?

That's a bit of a guess but here's why I made it. I entered the Vauxhall Craftsmen's Guild competition as a car mad primary schoolkid in 1964 with a car that looked very like the one in the photo. Two years later, Saab released their Sonnet and I was convinced that Saab had stolen my design!

Well, that's several guesses, most of them wrong!

Not American is correct (and ha b****y ha about fat Yanks). :p

Not Swedish, so not Volvo or Saab.  Not European at all.

Don't let the LHD fool you... it's not as unlikely as you think.
