Kevin Jones had a front cycle wing stay break which let the cycle wing and remaining 'bit' dig into the slick so he trailed white smoke all the way round - bit odd that no flag was shown to him... maybe they thought red indians were sending a message    :bangshead:

Del's car wouldn't run in the afternoon after he'd handed it over to Paul Aspden    possible fueling problem I think

Mr Chairman Edden got sent back to the paddock for being a noisy git.... and then he started his engine    the Speed Series 'gang' rallied round and helped him get it repacked (also helped by Paul waving his credit card at Merlin Motorsport) though not aided by a couple of allen bolts being seized in the endcaps - "so Paul, when did you last repack this?" "erm....it hasn't been touched since it went on the car 7 years ago..."     :D  all sorted and they let him out for the afternoon  :t-up:

and finally, mr ex-chairman Stanton's burgundy car was seen in the paddock in new hands so it'll be interesting to see it being driven by someone else - who mentioned power to weight ratio   or 'talent' :suspect:  :p  :D

But all things considered, Dad was looking really well. Nice to see you Dad, as it was all the other folks who were unfortunate to have me walk over and say hello...

! am the "somebody else" in Marks old car.

Actually found my way round without getting lost (see Loton some years ago) or hitting anything.

Easiest 100 points I am ever likely to get, where was everybody?

Martin - sorry to hear your wife is unwell - best wishes. As 6th reserve I probably got in as you weren't there.

Thanks for all the best wishes, decided to take a break away from it all in the motorhome, to try to recharge my batteries, it was cold and wet, have come home early to find water leak in front garden,

It's looking as though it's not going to be my year and I've not heard from the insurers with a decision yet.

Looks like Stewart Robb wound the wick up to go just under 113secs for the Top12 runoff  :)  I wonder what Mr Algar senior would have managed if he'd been there  ???    :D

Hi Rob

In disguise, anyway I thought it more appropriate than my office nickname "Carefull" past history considered. Although I was being very carefull at CC.

Gurston next if they let me in. Planning to get their early so I can make the appropriate sacrifice to the gods and maybe make it to the top this year.
